Anhalter Bahnhof was a train station located in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin, Germany. It was one of the busiest train stations in Berlin during the early 20th century. The station was opened in 1839 and underwent numerous renovations and expansions over the years. During World War II, the station was heavily damaged and was ultimately closed in 1952.
Today, the site of Anhalter Bahnhof is a public park and monument to the former train station. The only remaining structure is a reconstructed entrance gate, which serves as a popular meeting place for locals and tourists. The park also features several information panels detailing the history of the station, as well as a small exhibit dedicated to its legacy.
